Aquamarina Hotel & Villas

My husband and I were looking for a beautiful and peaceful hotel, and we were immediately drawn to this lovely place near Paje. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff, who made sure we had everything we needed. During our stay, it was wonderful to escape the crowds of mass tourism and enjoy the refreshing breeze from the water. The hotel is not far from the beach—just a short drive or bike ride away. As a couple, we found this to be the perfect spot to relax while still having plenty of activities around. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples or families looking for a calm and relaxing getaway.

Aqua Marina was hotel is exceptionaly good. all the staff including the manager and the waiters and waitresses are excellent. i have been visiting this hotel for many years now. this is the place if you need to relax,.The are wonderfull choice of food and other drinks. The quality of the food and rooms is exceptionally good. The service is prompt, nothing is too much trouble, this hotel is one of top ten in Zanzibar

Aquamarina was perfect for our family vacation! We stayed in two connecting rooms, which gave us plenty of space and privacy while staying close to the kids. The ocean views were spectacular, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The staff was incredibly welcoming, making sure we all felt at home. The pool was a favorite for the kids, and the restaurant had delicious options for everyone. Close to Jambiani and Paje, but peaceful enough for family relaxation.

Aquamarina was ideal for us! We stayed in a spacious apartment with two large bedrooms, each with a private bathroom – perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The vibrant ocean views were stunning, and the hotel’s clean rooms and great service made our stay even better. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the delicious restaurant, while the easy access to Jambiani and Paje’s lively scenes kept our trip dynamic and exciting. Perfect for active travelers!

I spent 3 days of pure relaxation. Room with sea view, very spacious and always tidy, cleaned every day. Inside the hotel there are also apartments with kitchen/living room, very nice and spacious, (I saw the one of my friends and it was spectacular, with a terrace overlooking the sea) Structure with lots of space available where privacy is at home. A very large swimming pool. Good cuisine, mix of Swahili/Italian. Very polite and welcoming staff. The hotel is located directly on a beautiful white sandy beach in Jambiani. High and low tide every day as throughout Zanzibar, but the sea is spectacular with shades of blue and emerald green, protected by the coral reef which is located a few hundred meters away. The various excursions in the south-east of the island are all very close (I recommend Jozani Forest/Blue Safari/ and the Quad tour in the small villages and spice tours). In the north, Stone Town is definitely worth seeing and the Nakupenda/Prison Island excursion . If you are looking to relax it is the perfect place, if you want to party, Paje is 10 minutes by car. I am not a person who likes to post negative review but I couldn’t resist myself in posting this review. First of all I asked the person Vincenzo to share location on WhatsApp and he sent google location which was wrong and when we reached at location we couldn’t find the place and o repeatedly ask him to share WhatsApp location which he failed to share and at end shared picture of location. Eventually figured out location after half an hour of driving around. Second shock we received when we reached there as manager told us that he will give us first floor of villa whereas the pic of deluxe villa didn’t mention the floors there and while booking we thought that whole of villa was for us as the pics shared by property fooled us. Third shock we got when we entered the so called villa that ac of one bedroom was not working and there was no ac in living room. Fridge was not cooling enough and microwave was also not working. Practically we had just one bedroom as ac of only one room was working. Managed bluntly refused to help us saying that he can’t do anything for us. I felt cheated for first time in my life after travelled over 50 countries. When we asked if we chose some other property and he would refund the money for which he denied any refund. Last day manager came with technician to fix the AC . We felt really cheated by the properly
